Like all of the gibraltar range, this clamp in particular is a very versatile piece of hardware. But, like all other clamps in the gibraltar range you we also need to purchase the memory locks for these clamps, just for stabilisation. Yes, the clamps tighten very well, but not well enough to stop moving with such heavy forces sometimes working against them. I wish when purchasing these clamps, Gibraltar would include at least one memory lock with the clamp for stability. More often than not, you will need two memory locks either side of such clamps for total stabilisation. Great hardware though.
