Good and not expensive compared to other brands
I already reviewed the 6"
This is the 4".
To be used by me to put on bottom cymbals that are not played on the cup (because it will require some precise play to reach the cup with this short stacker), and are at least 4" bigger than the top cymbal.
Very nice tool to expand a kit within it's footprint.
But in some setups with much vibrations, they will turn loose after a while. They won't fall off immediately. You'll see them jiggle a little.
But a drummer should know to tighten some of his hardware regularly.

Good stacker mainly for Gibraltar stands
I use this as an extension at the rehearsal room I rent every once in a while. I mentioned it mainly fits Gibraltar stands and have ended up getting it stuck on some brands or being too wide for others. Otherwise a steady stacker that does its job well

Fantastic way to add more cymbals without taking up more space.
This great little product is a boon to drummers who want to add more cymbals to their kit without taking up space. It works, and is made perfectly, as is to be expected from Gibraltar.
Using either the 4" or 6" stacker, one can put splashes over crashes, bells over trashes, small effects cymbals over trashes over rides. The possibilities are endless. Just make sure smaller cymbals go over larger ones.
Be warned though, upon trying one for the first time, you will want to buy one for every cymbal you have, so small is the footprint and so effective the result.

Works like a charm
Great way to quickly set up splashes with no need for tugging additional boom holders and clamps. I like this short stacker a lot better than its longer counterpart. Nifty little tool for the money.

Cool attachment
It helps you save space on stands and is very sturdy. Just make sure you tighten it well. I have mounted all 4 of my splash cymbals on my crash cymbals and i will be mounting one inside my China cymbal, too. They are amazing.

Perfect solution
Does exactly what its meant to do and is nice and sturdy.
Allowed me to mount a 4" chime above my ride cymbal with enough room to still hit the bell. a larger splash or something might warrant the taller variant.

Does just what it is meant to do, though i did't find use for it on my set and gave it my brother who is using it as we speak and is satisfied.

Simple and efficient
I bought this to mount 8" splash on top of 16" china. It works great.
I used that metal washer that comes with this stand to compress rubber felt that is holding china, because otherwise felt just slips on the shaft and cymbal is not stable. I am not sure if that is it's initial use, but it works.
I have no complaints

Great Accessory
As always with Gibraltar items this is a sturdy piece of kit.
I use it to stack a 10" splash over a 16" crash and it does exactly what you'd expect it to!
Good value.
