Having decided to finally purchase the one guitar i have always dreamed of since being a 17 years old boy,at the age of 58 im kicking myself for not doing it sooner! The guitar and case are typically beautiful Gibson Custom Shop offerings,easy on the eye of the beholder. The guitar arrived and was immediately put through its paces. It was set up a little too high for my tastes but this will be ammended with a set up that suits myself in the near future. It does everything from country,pop,indie and,as you expect,the Everlys sound is obvious from the go.....unplugged or dialled in through an acoustic amp,this guitar can offer it all. The big double pickguards DO NOT retard the sound as some players have mentioned in YouTube reviews. All in all,to finalise my findings,1...it plays and looks amazing..2...the sound is all you could wish for to use across all music genres...and finally, 3...its got star inlays and the Everly name on the truss rod!!!! So,keep the Gibson/Everly names at the forefront of rock and roll,you know it makes sense🙏❤️
