Excellent material for your cutomised pick-guard!

Please note: The pattering will not be very prominent if you do not add a lighter (white/cream) underlayer...unless your guitar body is a light colour.

White sheets of plastic are available at handiman stores and model enthusiast shops (model trains etc).

Double-sided carpet tape is a good fix...and rather permanent...but will not peel away!

When cutting a sheet of white plastic for extra enhancement, leave an edge all round...this you can then file or sand to the size later. (see 3-ply pick guards for example of this method.)

great quality pickguard, a lot of area to work with. i used it to make a pickguard for an electric guitar and it did the job.
A little transparent, but it's ok

Das Tortoise - Material sieht sehr authentisch aus, gerade wenn man es als Ersatz für ältere "Vintage"-Gitarren verwenden möchte. Dazu muss es aber auf ein stärkere Platte geklebt werden. Man an kann es sogar mit einer scharfen Schere zurecht schneiden.
Es ist praktischerweise bereits selbstklebend (was in der Produktbeschreibung gar nicht erwähnt wird.)
Die Wiederablösbarkeit von einer Gitarrendecke konnte nicht beurteilt werden. Insbesondere bei Gitarren mit einer teuren massiven Decke ist da evtl. Vorsicht angebracht. Selbstverständlich sollte die vorhandene Schutzfolie erst nach Abschluss aller Arbeiten abgezogen werden.

...es sieht nicht wiklich natürlich aus.
Ich hab's auf einer Irish-Bouzouki kleben.
Der Gesamteindruck ist aber toll!
Man sollte etwas Zeit investieren und gerne
basteln.
