Should it have been a straight swap?

Bought a B stock Harley Benton Telecaster type guitar because it was too good a price not to. The guitar itself just needed a little adjustment to get it a little more 'me' so a swap from white to black pickguard was essential.
This pickguard is really good for the price and as always, the service from Thomann was unbeatable. Even once the UK postal service got their hands on it, it still arrived really quickly. There were no pup adjustment screw holes but I'm sure there must be a reason.
My only real issue was that 2 of the screw holes didn't line up with the holes on the guitar and so new ones had to be drilled in the guitar body. As both products were Harley Benton I would have thought they would have matched but... no big deal!

Doesnt fit Harley Benton Telecaster.

I bought this item to fit to replace the white pickguard that came in my Harley Benton build it yourself telecaster guitar kit. As this is also a Harley Benton product I assumed that it would easily retro fit onto the Harley Benton telecaster. However, this is not the case, the pickguard is a different shape and the screw holes are in different places requiring extra drilling.

As for the quality of the product its self it seems very good and would be ideal if it did fit!

Great look, material looks high quality.

Doesn't fit perfectly in the t-kit guitar, but with some dremel work is now fine, and improve the look of the guitar a lot.
