Bought a pair of these truss rods as I always used Goldo bars and never had troubles before.
This version, though, is waaaay worse than the old one. The blue "tape" around it comes off easily, but more important, the nut on the end is HUGE, needing a very deep routing. It's also longer than the nut on the older model, so once I found out, I couldn't even go back and use the old version. Bummer. The guy who made these must be a sadist.

This is the second truss I buy for my 2nd bass building project. How to evaluate a product like this....
Well,... it seems strong, light and the blue covering will reduce rattle. How it performs over the years remains to be seen.
However, I would like to see more choise in the Thomann catalog. Next project I would like to buy a more vintage style bass truss.

Truss rod (tige de renfort de manche) d'utilisation simple. Il suffit de l'enfiler dans une gorge de la largeur de la tige, réalisée à la défonceuse au centre du morceau de bois destiné à fabriquer le manche, en creusant un espace légèrement plus large pour le boulon de réglage au niveau de la tête et de ménager un sillon d'accès allant au-delà de cet élément de réglage pour permettre de passer la clé Allen servant à tendre ou détendre le truss rod. Il sera ensuite recouvert par la touche et, en s'appyant sur celle-ci, permettra d'arquer le manche de façon convexe ou concave (modèle double-action).
Pour luthier en herbe ou fabricant confirmé.

Virkelig godt produkt, kører perfekt.
Bruger den i 60'er jazz bas kopier med smal hals profil.
De har en meget smal profil der passer godt til smalle halse hvor der også skal være plads til stål eller grafit stivere.
