Gotoh P90 BK

I wanted a new neck pick up form Revelation Rjt-60. So I bought this, cause it had good review and It's cheap.

4/5 in sound because, some times it feels to dark for me, though those poles are adjustable, so I just have to adjust them.

No problems installing it, and build quality seems ok. Only con I see is that cover is not removable (at least I don't know how), as this is first P-90 pick up I have ever bought, maybe it standard for covers to not be removable.

All in all, I'm happy with this purchase!

This was my first contact with p90 I finished my first scratch guitar build and I installed a set of this pickups. They are nicely voiced, not the hottest in terms of out put but they have a bite, only concern that they are a bit micro phonic, for me it's not a bad thing bad its something to have in mind in a high gain or volume situation. They came nicely packed with easy to follow instructions and they were very easy to install.

I installed these in my Harley Benton MR-Modern as a replacement for the humbuckers. Initially, they were too shrill for my tastes. After giving it some thought, I replaced the 500K pots and .022 microfarad capacitor with a traditional telecaster setup: 250 K pots and .047 microfarad capacitor. What a difference! These pickups are beautiful clean and get very aggressive when played hard.

I bought this pu for my harley benton cst 24 p90. Change it to neck pickup. Very clean and chimey. Much better note articulation. Well done gotoh
