I recently bought these to upgrade the tuning machines on my Harley Benton SC450 LD guitar. The stock ones were ok but felt a bit loose and didn't hold tune as well as I'd like. The Grover ones are in a different league. They look exactly like the HB ones but the feel of them is totally different - they are so much more smooth and solid. Once I removed the original ones I was amazed how wobbly and loose they felt compared to the Grover ones. Thomann recommended the size I needed for the HB and they fitted perfectly - it's worth emailing them before you buy in error (like I was just about to do...!). The HB now has good tuners and a Tusq nut and feels and sounds like a quality guitar.

Perfect fit to my HB SC-450Plus

I asked Thomann for recommended part to upgrade my SC-450Plus and they suggested this these tuners. Perfect fit and very simple and easy way to replace the old one with this one.

I changed the nut as well and I have completely different guitar.
Very happy!

Quality Tuners That Hold Tune

Good quality machine heads that feel solid and turn smoothly. Fitted these to replace some worn tuners and the improvement was noticeable straight away. They hold tuning well and have a nice vintage look with the keystone buttons.

Installation was straightforward, although it's worth checking the measurements before ordering. Overall, a reliable upgrade and I'd happily use them again.

Trop verdâtre...

Super qualité de fabrication, on sent que c'est du robuste.
aucune friction quand on tourne les mécaniques.

Toutefois, esthétiquement, l'embout en plastique est vraiment trop verdâtre pour mon goût. Loin de ressembler à des mécaniques vintage. Je déconseille pour toute restauration d'une Gibson vintage à l'identique.
