F
Impressive for the price

First of all, I want to add that I returned this instrument, not because I didn't like it overall, but because I must have gotten a bad apple : either I couldn't set it up properly (I'm not an expert luthier) or the neck was faulty (I couldn't get rid of some fret buzz) so instead of taking it to a luthier and pay extra, I just returned it and got a second hand Polara S100. Despite my bad experience I definitely recommend this model, it sounds fabulous, neck is fast and comfy and it's super light weight. All in all I'm a huge fan of Guild guitars. They have their own personality and are generally high quality for the price (WAY better than Epiphone in the same price range). I however have a preference for the earlier model (Polara S100) because those are made in Korea therefore better quality overall, while the deluxe is made in Indonesia and maybe explains my one bad experience. But I don't want to deter you from buying one, they are amazing instruments (they sound like much higher end ones) but you might have to do some setting up which I wasn't skilled enough to do.

- Preis-Leistung eindeutig mit in vorderste Reihe, also top
Was habe ich verändert:
- Saiten gewechselt (Geschmackssache)
- zwei Bünde minimal abgerichtet
- Sattelkerben nachgefeilt, denn die waren extrem eng (einziger Minuspunkt!)
- Saitenabstand und Höhe Humbucker angepasst
- Intonation leicht korrigiert

Na
Hammer!

Dunno why… if it is how it’s built or the humbuckers… this chugs like a schecter metal guitar. I love high gain sounds, but love classic guitars. This is the way. And if you like clean and crunch tones, it’s perfect, too. Well built, nice look, nice tone, nice feel and if you want it chugs like a monster. 😍 Buy. 🙃

Excellente après quelques réglages
CM 07.09.2025
