Gut-a-Like Vintage Double Bass Strings

I bought these to play rockabilly on, and they work perfectly. Nice light tension, soft on the fingers and a lovely deep, warm, vintage tone. Sharp, cutting slap tone too, without being tinny and trebley. Well balanced across all strings and easy to play. Only complaint is they feel a bit plasticy when they are fresh, but after some sweat and beer on them, they settle in just fine.

These string have a very beautiful vintage look! They look so good on my double bass! They are perfect for slapping style, but also good for normal playing. I shouldn't use them to play with a bow... If you wanna play rockabilly style, these strings are great for you!
