The neck of the Harley Benton Custom Line CLP-15ME features a pleasantly chunky modified oval C profile, so even beginners should be able to get comfortable with it quickly. The fingerboard and bridge are both made from pau ferro and are complemented by a bone nut and bone saddle, respectively, ensuring clean intonation over all 18 frets. The bridge in turn ensures a comfortable playing position for the picking hand, while the unobtrusive yet stylish snowflake fingerboard inlays provide easy orientation across the whole register. Sound-wise, the CLP-15ME has a very pronounced midrange response and an understated low end that is nonetheless impressive for a guitar this size, all of which can be authentically reproduced through an amplifier or mixing desk thanks to the built-in Fishman Presys II pickup system and fine-tuned via the latter's two-band EQ. The preamp's control panel additionally includes a tuner and phase switch.
