Makes More Hum Not Less

Really wanted this to work. Tried it everywhere in the signal chain. Tried using different outlets. Even tried reversing the patch cables. All it did was add more hum. Hate giving this a one-star rating, but what are you going to do when it fails to work ... and, makes things worse?
