Good for trying out flats for the first time. But not if you care about your tone.

These strings are decent for the price. An OK option if you just want to try flatwounds without spending €20 on an experiment. However, I wouldn’t buy them again. My D string had a weird tuning issue in one specific part (unrelated to the guitar’s setup or frets); lowering the pitch revealed what might be an internal defect, causing an odd sound when pressing in one specific point of the string. Good strings produce rich harmonics and tonal colours needed for a beautiful sound—these don’t deliver that. Since flatwounds last much longer than roundwounds, saving €10–€12 makes little sense when you could get far better quality instead.
