Awesome instrument.
What can I say? Incredible feeling on the fretboard, I'm loving the engraved parts so much (this should be standard on all HB instruments btw) The Firemist color is amazing and I do love the texture as well, It sounds great but not a big fan of Roswell pick ups. They do their job but I feel you could do some variations just as do you with guitars, maybe emgs? My only gripe of the lack of proper JB knobs, as I am not a fan of p-bass knobs on Jazz type basses. All of this easily fixable for me anyways.
All in all, it is a worthy Bass to own,one that will become part of my arsenal. Keep up the great job!

Wow
The JB-25TH Firemist is a great bass period. Not great for a Harley Benton, it is just a great bass, particularly when you factor in the price point. I bought mine a little over a month ago and I was impressed right out of the box. It is a great looking bass and well made bass. I figured that if it would have a weak point I would find it in the pickups, but even the Roswell pups sound really good. The only changes that I made to the bass was the stock strings. Don't get me wrong D'Addario makes good strings, but the Dogal strings that I use are IMO better. I also had my luthier install an Audere four band preamp. The preamp made enough of a difference that when I picked my bass the luthier to me "you have to hear this bass now. It sounds amazing!" He plugged the bass into a Genzler amp and he was right, the bass sounded amazing. When I took it home I plugged it into my Phil Jones amp and the sound was and is impressive. The bass is highly articulated, clear, with booming lows and sparkling highs. In short, I am highly pleased with my purchase.

Great quality bass for beginners
I bought this bass a beginner bass player who also has a background with guitar:
Pros: high quality for the price, comfortable neck, fit and finish has improved (since the purchase of my fusion III).
Cons: frets are a little scratchy but not horrible
Pots seem to work but feel cheap.

Arrived Flawless
I needed a backup jazz bass but didn't want to spend a lot of money. When I saw the features I knew this was the one. As long as it arrived in good condition I knew I could replace anything I didn't like - pickups, electronics, etc. Not only did it arrive in perfect condition but I'm quite happy with how it feels, plays, and sounds. No parts replacement needed. The ONLY thing I may add at some point will be a push pull knob to give me the series switch.

Very nice
For the price the specs seem very good. Playability was quite good out of the box. Little setup made it better. One of the nut slots was a bit high and had to be filed down a little. No big deal. The roswell pickups work like a charm.
