My first HB. Delivery was fast, arrived in 3 or so days. The headstock has 3 points without paint but it doesn't affect anything and it is at the back, so I can't even see it normally.
Build quality is good, I'll probably just adjust string height and intonation, it is a little higher than I would prefer. Fret ends feel nice, just need some polishing, oil, and string changing
As for the sound, it is very responsive, has a sustain that goes on for days and has a great tone with heavy distortion. I bought the guitar with the thought of upgrading to EMGs in mind but I'm quite happy with the HBZ. Playing with cleans is a little bit harder, you need to find the sweet spot with the volume knob to balance output and clarity.
The neck feels similar to my other Les Pauls, not particularly thin but definitely not thick.
At this price range it is impossible to imagine any manufacturer getting even close to the quality, especially considering that it uses active pickups, bindings all over the guitar, different headstock, etc.
Comparing to a Squier that I had in the same price range, the HB feels much higher quality, even the unbranded tuners are better.
I can't really point a negative but you need to keep in mind that this is a budget option!

Great bang for the buck.
I bought this on sale, I liked the finish, the sound and it arrived fast, the only imperfections I noticed was the binding at the end of the neck is coming off (I'll use some glue) and I had to do a proper setup so the guitar could be playable, but overall very good.

You will not be dissapointed!
I bought this guitar nearly 4 years ago and it has since been used on countless recordings. It sounds fantastic, and it has a good bit of weight to it which I love because it helps everything sound thicker even in higher tunings. Absolutely love this guitar!

Great overall!
My previous electric guitar was bought 20 years ago. It is hard to believe what an amazing instrument you can buy nowdays for so little money. SC-1000 looks, feels and sounds expensive. With minor adjustments it was ready to go. The cosmetic glitches are a few and acceptable for me. The online buying experience was perfect. Thank you Thomann and Harley Benton.

Amazing.
Packaging, perfect, contents, more than perfect. Set up great, sound, great, look, great.
As with all new guitars, the fret board was a bit dry. A rub over with Lemon oil and a clean and all is good. Although there is still dirt on the board which will rub off over time.
The sound clean is simply stunning. With my choice of overdrive/distortion it roars. The volume pot is a little stiff but that will work in over time. The second volume pot is perfect as is the tone pot. Tuners, excellent and over all the guitar is just a joy to play.
A bit heavier than expected but it is a good solid guitar and the weight makes it just sit perfectly.
If you want a great guitar with active pickups that really hits the mark, ticks all the boxes and is just a joy to play, look no further. For the price, it is worth more than it's weight in gold.

Harley benton sc1000 progressive line
Bought as an alternative to guitars with active pickups for heavy styles of music. The appearance is excellent, simply amazing, there is certainly something to complain about, but given the cost of competitors, both in the market for new guitars and used instruments, there is simply no. The disadvantages include the fact that the guitar comes in an unplayable state, I had to take it to the master to rebuild the neck deflection, the height of the strings and to grind and polish the frets, otherwise top !!!!!!

Best eclipse ever
If you want to play Metallcore through a dsp plugin, this is the best choice. It doesn't have a clean tone, btw, but who cares!

Hetfield on a budget!
I bought this guitar after my Jackson rhoads v broke, wanting to dip my toes into the LP style of guitars. Was blown away by the quality straight out of the box. Harley Benton does what other brands do, but for less. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still married to Jackson, but HB is my mistress haha.

Small issues, great guitar
Bridge had a pretty big screwdriver gouge in it but not noticeable enough to send back in. Volume knobs have basically 3 settings "off-whisper-too loud." But aside from that, what you're getting for 180 dollars is top notch. Looks gorgeous, plays great. Expect to have to lower the action a bit out of the box, but every guitar need minor adjustments out of the box. Pickups sound great. I've owned epiphone LPs and this is every bit as nice for a significant discount.
