Quality issues
After playing a guitar for a while I decided to try to learn some bass, and this bass guitar had good reviews and a great price.
When I got it ,I was impressed how beautiful this instrument was.
Then noticed the action was really high, tightened the truss rod, then played the heck out of it. Later learned that for slapping I needed to lower the action, and then lowered the saddles almost flush ,and still the action was too high. So I made some shims and put them under the neck, then tried to tighten the truss rod... and then the truss rod wrench just kept on turning without getting a grip on the rod. Seems like the head of the rod was of poor quality.
So I'm still enjoying this bass and it sounds great, but the neck is now stuck.
