3/4 Broken.
Avoid 10.05.2023
I've bought this item 4 different times and only one of them hasn't broken. They've been used in different locations with different equipment so there isn't any common reason why they have broken in terms of variables. I've bought the newer Harley benton power plants and they've never failed me. HARD AVOID on this product.

Forget your distortion...
Bogdan M. 30.09.2013
The unit voltage output is precise and correct: 9V, 500mA per 8 slots and 12V per two slots. It holds them all up loaded, keeping it all stable. Itself the unit is not noisy, works fine.

However, this unit is best for powering your child's toy railway or charging remote controlled toys. Because when at least one effect pedal is connected, it will generate such enormous noise to the speakers, that your sound operator will shut you down immediately. :-(

I returned the unit back and got T-Rex Fuel Tank Classic instead.

Failed quite quickly

I was using it to power an amplifier and a single pedal, just using 2 9v outlets. Died within a month. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Bought one, less than 6 months it died under home use and 4 small pedals. A replacement was posted by Thomann thankfully, but it lasted 3 months used about 2 times.

Noisy

Used this to feed wireless guitar transmitters, IEM transmitters and a guitar tuner in my rack. Added quite a bit of audible noise to my system. Replaced with a Voodoo Labs, noise gone.

I've used it twice live and stopped using it altogether. Some of my pedals started failing during concerts. At home everything was ok, but on two consecutive live shows it didn't live up to the task.
