Solid sounding guitar with QC issues
I've ordered this one as I was returning to playing guitar after a 10 year hiatus. I've always liked the LesPaul Custom aesthetics, especially in white. The plan was to mod/upgrade it with gold parts along the way.
Sound: Great soundimg guitar, nothing mindblowing, but the active pickups do their job well.
Look: The white finish was spotless. Only the bone colored parts had some stains. The guitar strings also came with stains.
Frets: Were not cut well, nothing sharp, but you could tell those were super cheap. They also lacked polish. The part were the varnish touched the fret board topside (where the little dots are) was not straight and on the higher frets looked cracked.
So I ordered another one to check whether it's a thing on this guitar or if I just had an unlucky pull. New guitar arrived aaaand: frets were much cleaner, looked actually like polished stainless steel and had no obvious cutmarks like the other one had. The bone varnish was not as neat and straight around the head, but totally okay.
I was about to keep the second one with the cleaner finish around the frets, but when I plugged it in and played a bit it just randomly dropped volume for half a second to a second. Maybe it's the knobs, maybe the pickups, maybe something else. So I packed it up and send it back as well :(
tl;dr: Played well, looked good (mostly), but your results may vary depending on the batch. I had to return two of them and won't be getting another one.
