Not what I had hoped
Have been very pleased with my first two Harley Benton guitars, but was not as happy with this one. The action was very high and it feels and sounds sort of cheap.

It lived up to my expectation as a beater guitar
I wanted something I could just hang up around the house and not worry about putting in a case. I should have put it in a case as the neck experienced severe fret sprout - dry winter. I just filed down the fret ends and it's fine; no more cutting up my fingers. The guitar is VERY neck heavy. The tuning pegs like to eat strings - I've had many strings break when tuning, high E the most, then B and lately G. I've gone and filed down and tried to smooth out the holes in the tuners one last time, hoping this will keep the strings from breaking. Action was very high and you will have to adjust accordingly. Other then that, you do get what you pay for and I hope with the latest filing strings will no longer break.

Its a great guitar but needs setup
I have always liked HB electrics so I got an acoustic. The ST has great sound but be aware it needs a full setup to be even playable. Had to buy a 1 - 0.2 shim and setup the neck. Surprisingly the frets are well done. A little polishing needed. Great full sound (better than Fender Acoustasonic series) .

Better than the cost but not perfect
I bought this, as a acoustic with electric guitar attributes especially the neck. It is a cheap instrument so I had low, expectations however it exceeds them, but it has issues in playability that take getting used to. Overall I like it but may try the Fender version to compare before I make a full choice. But for the money it us good value. Just to add after having this for a while. The action on the upper frets is very high in fact almost unplayable. I plan to lower it but not great. Think I would pass now if I had not already bought it and played it for a while
