I'ma lower intermediate level home player, using fairly basic amps- so here's my subjective experience of this guitar
weight: No neck dive. About the same as the TE-52 I owned.
Finish: very good overall, tiny imprefections in neck pocket, but really nothing major at all. The colour is what I would call "muted pumkin".
Fretwork:- very good, some minor pokies but will get that sorted with a setup.
Sounds: Better pickups than my old TE-52. Neck is obvs completely different- how to describe- warm, reasonably articulate. Bridg has the typical tele twang, comparing side by side to my TE-52 with Roswells, I think the Tesla pickup is lacking the slight harsh edge of the Roswells. The pickup combo makes the guitar very versatile
Tuners: They work ok, some slippage, a little stiffness which will prob loosen out over time. I might change them eventually for a locking set.
Overall a nice guitar for the money. I've learnt over the years of buying inexpensive guitars, to factor in a basic setup. There is nothing wrong with the way this guitar arrives, action prob a little high, intonation slightly off on a couple of strings. But overall it is great. Recommended
