Mit Mundharmoniken von Hohner war ich immer durchaus zufrieden. Klanglich hält diese mit meiner Marine Band voll mit. In einem Blindtest habe ich die beiden nicht unterscheiden können. Nur die Bends lassen sich im Vergleich zur Marine Band nicht so einfach spielen. Das kann aber womöglich daran liegen, dass die Blues Harp MS eine tiefere Tonart hat.

Le « Hohner Blues Harp » était légendaire dans les années 80. Il était essentiellement un Marine Band avec des capots différents. La version contemporaine fait partie de la série « MS », est n'a rien à voir avec la version originale sauf pour du graphisme sur les capots.

À mon avis, ce MS Blues Harp est un instrument médiocre. Dès la sortie de la boîte, l'harmonica n'était pas très réactif et certaines des lamelles était collants. Après un réglage des lamelles, il est devenu plus jouable. Cependant, il n'a pas le même volume sonore ni la même richesse de ton qu'un Marine Band ou un Special 20, à mes oreilles.

Les plaques ont des bords et des coins tranchants, qui doivent être lissés avec une lime fine ou du papier de verre. Le sommier est fabriqué en bois de doussié plutôt qu'en poirier ou en érable. Attention ! Ce bois est fragile -- j'ai cassé une dent en nettoyant le sommier.

On peut trouver des harmonicas de meilleure qualité autour de ce niveau de prix.

Ich bin kein Harp Spieler, habe allerdings schon eine günstigere besessen und kann ein wenig darauf spielen. Für einen Song brauchte ich nun eine in Ab Stimmung. nach langem Suchen habe ich mich für dies Harp entschieden, was ich niecht bereue.

Im Vergleich mit den Billigdingern stellt diese Harp in Punkto Verarbeitung, Handhabung und Sound alles in den Schatten.

Eine Top Harp, die ich jedem nur ans Herz legen kann. Auch der Anfänger wird hier vollends begeistert sein.
