Die neue Crossover-Serie von Hohner

Vor drei Wochen habe ich die neue Hohner Marineband Crossover zum ersten mal hören und ansehen können, mir ist da sofort der ungewohnt helle Kanzellenkörper aufgefallen. Steve Baker hat an diesem Abend einen tollen Sound heraus gezaubert und hat sie mir als "beste Marineband die er jemals in der Hand hatte" wärmstens empfohlen. Ich war begeistert vom Klang und von der Optik und habe mir gleich am nächsten Tag 5 Harps in den für mich wichtigsten Tonarten bestellt, wohl wissend, daß ich an Steve's Können natürlich bei weitem nicht heranreiche.

Bisher hatte ich hauptsächlich die Marineband Deluxe gespielt und war schon damit sehr zufrieden. Die Crossover jedoch begeistert mich total. Die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend, bei keiner der 5 gelieferten Harps war eine Nachjustierung der Lösabstände erforderlich, was ich bei der Deluxe in den höheren Tonlagen fast immer tun mußte, und die Ansprache ist auch dann ausgezeichnet, wenn man mit wenig Luft und ganz leise anspielt. Der fast weiße, aus Bambusholtz stabverleimte Kanzellenkörper hat nach meinem Empfinden ein gutes Stück Anteil an dem vollen und lauten Sound, den man aus dieser Harp herausholen kann und er sieht zudem auch noch Klasse aus.

Der Preis für diese Harp ist zwar nicht gerade niedrig, wenn man aber die ausgezeichnete Verarbeitung und die wegfallenden Nacharbeiten berücksichtigt ist das akzeptabel. Meine 5 Crossovers werden nicht lange allein bleiben, sobald die Ebbe in meiner Kasse wieder vergeht werde ich mir nach und nach alle verfügbaren Tonarten zulegen.

Que dire d'autre que WoW !
Le must de l'harmonica diatonique enfin réalisé et à la portée de tous !
Je suis harmoniciste professionnel, j'ai joué sur bien des modèles jusqu'à ce que je m'arrête sur le Blues harp MS, décu de ne pouvoir être bien sur le Marine Band traditionnel, qui, à l'époque, avait une finition trop bâclé à mon goût (au niveau des lames je précise).
j'ai besoin d'un instrument qui réponde parfaitement à mon jeu : à la fois très acoustique mais capable de générer une saturation naturelle, ce qui caractérise mon style. De plus, n'étant pas un "gros souffleur" comme on dit dan le jargon de la profession, il me fallait un instrument souple mais, joueur de blues, il me fallait le son incisif du Marine Band sans sa rigidité ! Pari réussi, merci Hohner !
Un détail très important aussi à mes yeux, c'est le matériau utilisé : le bambou !
Deux raisons à cela :
Je n'aime jouer que sur du bois (même si parfois j'utilise des sommiers plastiques comme le "spécial 20" qui est lui aussi une petite merveille).
Vu le nombre d'harmonicas que je transporte dans ma valise, (au minimum 30) ça fait vite du poids ! Hors, grâce au bambou, le poids est réduit au 2/3 !!!
La prise en bouche est un régal, ça glisse tout seul !
Et question prix, grâce à Thomann, il est vraiment abordable ! Merci !!!

Colleziono da qualche tempo armoniche a bocca e ho trovato la Marine Band CROSSOVER una buona relazione bontà/prezzo. Armoniche ce ne sono molte ed ogni amatore ha le sue predilette. Per me le CROSSOVER sono ottime e rose seconde solo alla MEISTERKLASSE che purtroppo sono un po' più costose. Altro invece il tipo di musica che suoni, questo ti guida nella scelta e con le CROSSOVER puoi suonare come vuoi.
