Great for hanging theatre scenic cloths
We use these (and the white versions) exclusively now to hang scenic cloths and gauzes in our community theatre. In our case the drop is only 3 metres (11 metres width - work in that one!) but they hold very well and there are no concerns of slippage. These days we just leave them attached to the cloths, rather than removing (which you can) and buy new ones for new cloths because the volume price breaks at Thomann make this cost effective.
The plastic is a decent tough type, not brittle or flimsy.
When received they are each attached to their injection mould plastic former: so get yourself a comfy chair in the evening, a cup of tea and something watchable on the TV and prepare yourself a bag full of them ready for use. It doesn't take long. Oh, and if you find out the use of the thin ribbed panel piece then let me know, it's not needed anywhere!

Perfect match with Stairville Spannfix
Used these to hang a heavy fabric backdrop with Stairville Spannfix. They work great! If you need to take them off the fabric once you fasten them just use some needle nose pliers. You cant take them off by hand. They hold on very strong which is a good thing!

Absolutely brilliant
Incredibly easy and versatile system. Used about 400 of these so far and every one has gone on perfectly. They hold extremely well to a wide range of fabrics, not just theatre drape. There is a knack to removing them but once you have it they are also pretty easy to remove.

Good backdrop locking clips.
These are great if you have any molton or cloth that you want to hang, or stretch out.
The quality is however not perfect, and the small locking clips are a bit fiddly to use, but they work.

Stairville Holdon Mini black for Curtain
Excellent little gadgets these. Have used them together with the Spanfix elastics previously to hold a backdrop for about 8 yrs worth of gigs with no slippage on any of them. I only order these new ones as we left our old backdrop at a gig ..oops.

fit for purpose
Good for holding onto very thin material so good for our use as we're attaching thin cotton material. Doubt they'd fit onto thinker fabrics like molton drapes though so you'd need that larger size for that.
