So I bought the ampero mini a while back. At first I was having all kinds of fun with this unit, but the volume switch do not work, as in no matter how I turn it the output signal always seem to be at max.
Apart from this the firmware updates cannot be extraced on my MAC system, I tried it with the Unarchiver, now I cannot use the desktop editor, which is a pity because that is very intuitive and user friendly.
The touch screen seems to be covered with a thin layer of plastic and upon applying light pressure to it is a bit unstable.
All in all the ampero mini is fun piece of gear to try out various sounds in your basic home studio set up but there are some major drawbacks as well. I sadly cannot recommend it for the price.
