Unacceptable fretwork issues on a brand-new instrument
I'm a sound engineer and I have been buying music equipment for more than 15 years, from both local stores and online retailers, and unfortunately this is the most disappointing experience I have had with a brand-new instrument.
The guitar arrived in completely unplayable condition due to serious fretwork issues. It required a full fret leveling before it could be properly played. I think this is unacceptable for a new instrument.
The fret leveling resolved the initial playability problem, but it also resulted in additional issues with the instrument. As a result, I'm stuck with an instrument that is unusable for professional or even hobbyist use.
That being said, I like the tone of the wood, and the AIR port hole is useful, which makes the situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the poor quality control has overshadowed the positive aspects of the guitar.
