Very good guitar but the pick had broke down 3 times.

I’ve had the guitar for a year and a half now and i’m really happy with the guitar but the pick up has broke down on me 3 separate times. I’ve sent it back and gotten it fixed but every time i’ve gotten it back after a few months it just stops working. At this point it feels like i paid for a part of the guitar that won’t work again.
