Ibanez sand grip
My favourite pick. Been playing guitar for more than 40 years, this pick is ideal and for me the best. Never loose this pick as the grip is awesome. Only wish they would last a bit longer. The sandgrip does wear out a bit faster than I would like. Still the best so far!

Worth a try but...
To be honest, picking is a very delicate act and no two guitarists ever truly have the same picking technique. In fact, I don't even use teardrop shaped picks anymore.
But I digress, this pick is good if you're into Jazz III shapes. For me, they are to small to begin with but even worse, they are short lengthwise so I find I tend to miss strings and so have to bring my hand closer to the strings to the point I'm scraping the strings when doing fast pick runs.
This causes unwanted noise and scrapes SKIN off my other fingers. The grip is great to begin with but quickly loses it's grippiness.
The tip of the pick also wears out quickly making the whole situation even worse.
After using a single pick for less than a week, I gave up and now have a bag of brand new picks that I give out freely when selling guitar stuff on eBay.
Your mileage may vary but for me, and that's being kind because Ibanez makes great guitars, I give 3/5.

Simple but great picks
I’ve been using the Ibanez PPA16HSG-RD Pick Set for a while now, and I’m really happy with them.
First of all, they feel very comfortable in the hand. The grip is solid, so the pick doesn’t slip even during longer playing sessions. That’s especially important when practicing or recording.
The thickness is just right for me — it gives good control and precision, especially for both rhythm and lead playing. The attack feels clear, and the overall playing experience is very consistent.
Another thing I like is durability. They don’t wear out too quickly, even with regular use, which is a big plus.
It’s a simple product, but it does exactly what you expect — and does it well.
5 out of 5. Definitely recommend.

Great grip
If you need good grip, then these are must buy.
I feel they are more like medium than heavy thickness.
I have several more picks and some are much more thick than these.

The perfect pick
I love using the see picks. They are perfect for when the heat is on and you need the confidence that they are not going to slip whilst playing. They have a sandpaper finish and they feel comfortable whatever style of music you are playing. They are on the small size so if you prefer a bigger pick them these may not be for you.

Not for Sweaty hands
I do have pretty sweaty hands and this grip surface is not really usefull for me.
It also tends to just crumble out of the pick very fast at first until i just can't feel it anymore.
