I have the Istanbul Mehmet 15" legend Dark hi hats and the 18" Legend Dark Crash and love them all. Buying the 21" Legend Dark ride just seemed the next logical step. I wasn't disappointed, it has great tone and matches the crash perfectly.
I would highly recommend the Istanbul Mehmet Legend Dark Series to anyone.

Bis jetzt war ich ganz schön sauer, dass ich seinerzeit meine 70er-Jahre-Cymbals verschenkt habe. Seit ich mit Jazzmusik wieder angefangen habe, hat mich kein Ride so an die alten erinnert. Macht Spaß, das Ding: tiefer Ton, deutlicher Anschlag, klingt durch, die Glocke kommt klasse bei Latin-Grooves. Bestens für Jazzer, vor allem für den Preis. Habe dafür ein deutlich teureres ausgemustert.

Oui, magnifique cymbale ! Profonde, ample, avec des harmoniques très maitrisées et souples. L'attaque est très colorée, nette. Son ampleur aussi est très maitrisée, je n'aime pas trop quand une cymbale monte trop en puissance lorsque l'on joue un shabada un peu appuyé, là non, lorsque l'on s'arrête de la jouer, la chute du son est assez rapide pour une 21". Cette cymbale est destinée au jazz, c'est une évidence. Enfin, moi j'adore ce son profond, sombre, normal pour une Dark. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas d'écoute sur Thomann, pour écouter les Istambul et certaines autres. (A quand les Bosphorus ici ?) J'ai été obligé d'aller écouter ces cymbales sur les sites de la marque. Dommage, car les vrais adeptes de ces petits bijoux ne les achèterons jamais à l'aveugle...
