Der Kasten wirkt sehr solide und stabil. Dafür hat er natürlich ein gewisses Gewicht, das sich aber dank der Rucksackkonstruktion (die man nicht abmontieren, aber verstecken kann), gut tragen lässt. Als Alternative gibt es auch noch einen Schultertragegurt. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist vielleicht, dass die Rucksackträger nicht im Holz verschraubt, sondern am Bezug festgenäht sind.

Der Bezug ist aus strapazierfähigem Cordura, sieht gut aus und wirkt haltbar. Reißverschlüsse und Magnetknöpfe funktionieren gut.

Innen hat er einen schönen Samtbezug, der sich auch nach Samt anfühlt und sehr schlicht einfarbig gehalten ist. Die Fächer für Krimskrams sind auch groß genug.

Ein schöner Kasten für alle, die es lieber altmodisch als technisch mögen und ein bisschen mehr Gewicht in Kauf nehmen!
