Leichte, kompakte Aktivlautsprecher mit gutem, kräftigem Klang. Tiefe Bässe fehlen, höhere Bässe werden aber wiedergegeben, wobei die Frequenzverteilung im Vergleich zu HiFi-Lautsprechern angenehm neutral und klar ist. Insofern für meinen Hauptzweck als E-Piano-Verstärkung gut geeignet, wobei ab einer bestimmten Lautstärke eine Grenze erreicht ist; darüber hinaus verzerren die Lautsprecher hörbar. Bei meinen Gesangssolisten-Klavierbegleitungen bis zu mittleren Kirchen gut einsetzbar, bei großen Kirchen verzerrten sie zu früh. Für höhere verzerrungsfreie Pegel bei ähnlich kompakten Maßen sind die FBT Jolly 5 B A zu empfehlen.

Die beiden JBL Control-Monitore werden bei mir als Studiomonitore eingesetzt. Dafür sind sie hervorragend geeignet.
