Leichte, kompakte Aktivlautsprecher mit gutem, kräftigem Klang. Tiefe Bässe fehlen, höhere Bässe werden aber wiedergegeben, wobei die Frequenzverteilung im Vergleich zu HiFi-Lautsprechern angenehm neutral und klar ist. Insofern für meinen Hauptzweck als E-Piano-Verstärkung gut geeignet, wobei ab einer bestimmten Lautstärke eine Grenze erreicht ist; darüber hinaus verzerren die Lautsprecher hörbar. Bei meinen Gesangssolisten-Klavierbegleitungen bis zu mittleren Kirchen gut einsetzbar, bei großen Kirchen verzerrten sie zu früh. Für höhere verzerrungsfreie Pegel bei ähnlich kompakten Maßen sind die FBT Jolly 5 B A zu empfehlen.

Die beiden JBL Control-Monitore werden bei mir als Studiomonitore eingesetzt. Dafür sind sie hervorragend geeignet. Das Klangbild ist insgesamt gut, natürlich fehlt im Bassbereich etwas der Druck und die Mitten sind leicht betont. Verarbeitung ist hervorragend und für diesen Preis eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
