Some time ago, I ordered the JK Exclusive 12E, the Jet Tone Buddy Morrow (BM) signature and the Schilke 43E from Thomann, all small shank. I mainly play jazz, blues and various South-American styles and I prefer for a mouthpiece to give me a clear and concentrated tone, to enable easy articulation and lip trills.
The Schilke didn't really stand out, so nowadays, the JK and the Jet Tone are my favorites. They're both great in all respects that I mentioned, but the Jet Tone is by far the finest of all, mainly because it has a seriously bright and focused tone that easily cuts through the mix. Higher notes are fairly easy to reach on both mouthpieces, but tone-wise, the Jet Tone is my favorite with the JK in second place. I would absolutely recommend both of them.

Habe dieses Mundstück gekauft, um eine (recht billige) Basstrompete klanglich aufzuwerten, und das ist kurz gesagt auch gelungen.
Das Mundstück klingt angenehm weich und auch in hohen Lagen nicht angestrengt. Die hohen Lagen sind außerdem durch den kleinen und flachen Kessel etwas einfacher zu erreichen, trotzdem kann man dem Mundstück auch problemlos im Pedaltonbereich schöne volle Töne entlocken.
Die Ansprache war im Vergleich zu einem preislich ähnlichen Vincent Bach nicht ganz so leicht, aber dafür war die Verarbeitung (ganz im Gegensatz zum VB-Modell) über jeden Zweifel erhaben.

Achetée pour jouer des parties de cor à la trompette basse en ensemble baroque. Le son est centré mais rond, les attaques sont nettes, le bord est confortable et la résistance, du coup facilitée.
Une embouchure bien étudiée, bien finie, me permet de jouer avec confiance des parties hautes et tendues en concert, avec un timbre rond. A recommander pour les trompettes basses ou les parties de trombone 1 en classique comme en jazz.
