Karl Höfner H115-BG-V 4/4 Violin

For its price point his violin has a phenomenal sound to it. The lower register is warmer and slightly darker than a strad. It has a full roundness across all the registers. The higher register is not as piercing as a strad, but maintains projects and clarity of tone. The build is clean and precise. My only issue is that was much darker in finish color than the pictures portray. It looks like a antiqued dark brown finish in person. It has an old German look with an old Italian feel & sound to it.
