Bedienung ist einfach. Im Gegensatz zum Standard-Herzschoner sollte man das Teil vielleicht ein bisschen zusammendrücken, damit man es leichter einsetzen kann.

Ich verwende es zusammen mit den Key-Props.

Warum ich überzeugt bin: mein Sax (Yanagisawa A-WO35, neu gekauft) ging nach 4 Jahren zum Nachstellen und Überprüfen zum Sax-Doc. Es wurde nahezu täglich 1 Stunde gespielt. Befund: Polster halten noch mindestens ein Jahr, insbesondere die kritische Cis-Klappe (unten) sieht genauso aus wie anderen Polster.

Das lästige Kleben der Gis-Klappe kann es auf Dauer aber leider auch nicht verhindern. Immerhin ging das erst nach 4 Jahren los...

Sofort erkennbar und wirksam ist der deutlich verbesserte Sitz des Saxophons im (möglicherweise nicht mehr originalem) Koffer. Das gibt noch etwas mehr Schutz, wenn das Sax (im Koffer!) mal runterfällt.

Ach ja, man sollte natürlich die Länge der Gap Cap an den jeweiligen Koffer bzw. Saxophon vor Benutzung anpassen...

Assez pratique et bien étudié, mon alto (Mark 6) est bien mieux calé dans l'étui Selmer. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas un système de protection de la tige d'octave, ça aurait été parfait ! Je recommande ce produit.
