Handy compact stand, perfect after little easy fix - used for front cajon microphone Shure SM57
I use this stand for my cajon front microphone Shure SM57. I have the mic elevated using K&M 20002 26cm extension rod (shame there is not a 20cm version, whch would fit into the SM57 poach). When I first put these components together, I noticed the 3 legs are a bit loose compare to the nut holding the extension rod, which caused the setup rather wobbly, especially considering the SM57 is quite heavy piece of kit. First I thought it won`t work, but after examining the stand I realised that the screw is not squashing the legs to the stand very well leaving there a small gap causing the wobbliness. It was not possible to tighten the screw more. I found a small diamater, but thick washer (approx 1,5mm thick, similar diamater to the screw head) and re-installed the screw.....and voila, it became super thight.
One note to the SM57. Its holder is a bit strange in the way where it actually clamps the microphone - i.e. right at its very end. This way and particularly with the small stand, it causes quite an unbalance. I have microphone holders AKG SA 63 (rated for diamaters 30-37 mm) and K&M 85070 (rated 34-40mm) - when used instead of the original Shure clamp (the AKG seems a bit neater in my opinion), the microphone can be pushed back to make the setup actually pretty stable.
I give 3 stars as the stand did not come stable in the first place, but would give 5 if it came with the washer. I like it fits into the SM57 poach and is very lightweight.

Nice compact stand
Very nice little stand, I bought two of these to carry around in my work bag, sadly one of them has a bit of a weak point between the legs joint and the top screw but once it has some weight on it stands very still anyway. Built in very light plastic that feels a bit weak but its sturdy enough to carry most microphones, I would have liked it better if it had had rubber feet instead of plastic ones but for the price its still a nice tool.

simple, useful
Made of hard plastic, small size. It is breakable, but if you treat it nice, it will last. Steady although it needs space for stability.

This table top microphone stand is...
small in footpribt so can sit in the smallest of spaces. It s made of relatively cheap plastic but stays put and does what its supposed to. maybe better to purchase the t bone branded version and save a few £.
