I have four of these now, very sturdy, very light and a really nice clamping system, so much better than a thumb screw type of clamp. They go up a long way too so the lights are not in your eyes all the time!

A very good quality stand from K&M.
Not too heavy, and easy to use. the quick-release elements are good and strong enough to hold the stand up until the safety pin is in place. I use with an LED 4-light set which is fairly light, so all in all it's a good setup, stable and easy to use. No problems set-up or taking down :)

This "big" stand was the perfect solution to replace a broken stand for my LED light bar which had caused problems for some time. The bar now sits high above the band on stage, thanks to this very stable and secure stand, and as a result provides a greater experience for the audience.

Bewährte K&M-Qualität mit neuem Klemmverschluss

In Sachen Stativen setzen wir seit Jahren nur noch Produkte von K&M ein - da kann man einfach sicher sein, keine böse Überraschung zu erleben. Bei den neuen Stativen überraschte mich der Klemmverschluss, der die normale Schraube zum Arretieren ersetzt. Das System ist wirklich so einfach wie funktional; mit einer Hand lässt sich der Hebel öffnen, die andere kann das Auszugsrohr halten. Ein Sicherungssplint verhindert ungewolltes Lösen.
Vorteile:
- Der Klemmmechanismus funktioniert sehr gut; wenn er zu locker sitzt, kann man ihn an einer Schraube nachstellen. Ein Test zeigt: Mit meinen 80 Kilo + einer 4er-Bar konnte ich das arretierte Auszugsrohr nicht in die Knie zwingen
- Sehr leicht, da Aluminium - trotzdem stabil
- Außendurchmesser des Rohrs als Lautsprecherstativ nutzbar, Innendurchmesser als Aufnahme für TV-Zapfen
Nachteile:
- Der runde Sicherungssplint ist etwas fummelig, andere K&M-Stative mit flachem Splint sind in der Handhabung etwas einfacher
- Die kleine Schraube zum Arretieren des TV-Zapfens sitzt mit nur 2-3 Gewindegängen im Auszugsrohr. Wenn man die Schraube herausdreht um einen TV-Zapfen einzusetzen, dreht man sie häufig ganz los.
