Also ich hatte noch nie vorher von einem Pickguard gehört, das man wieder ablösen kann. Da bin ich erst hier bei Thomann drauf gestoßen. ( Aber ehrlicherweise hatte ich mir darüber vorher auch nie Gedanken gemacht ). Na, und zu einem Preis von 10 EUR und auf Grund der vielen positiven Bewertungen, dachte ich: Viel verkehrt machen kann man hier wohl nicht. Also gleich mal bestellt und wie immer bei Thoman superschnell geliefert! Was für mich jetzt ganz wichtig war, ist die Tatsache, dass es wirklich glasklar durchsichtig ist, denn ich wollte die supertolle Optik der Deckenmaserung meiner Lieblings-Westerngitarre nicht "verschandeln"! Und diesen Anspruch erfüllt das PG vollkommen. Man sieht es fast nicht, nur die Ränder erkennt man natürlich ein wenig im Gegenlicht. Aber ansonsten tatsächlich nahezu unsichtbar. Zudem ist es weder zu dick noch zu dünn, also für mich genau die richtige Stärke. Und halten tut es auch 100%ig. Gut, meine Decke ist hochglanzpoliert. Ob es jetzt auch auf anders behandelten oder auch unbehandelten Decken hält, oder auf Decken, die vielleicht schon starke Kratzer aufweisen, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber bei mir hält es bombenfest und verschiebt sich auch nicht. Absolut genial! Wäre sehr wünschenswert, wenn es das PG auch in verschiedenen Farben geben würde. Dann würde ich mir für meine anderen Western auch noch welche kaufen. Also von mir absolut verdiente 5 Sterne!
