Neues Leben für mein Cello

Eins vorweg: Ich bin kein professioneller Cellist und kann hier nur meinen rein subjektiven Eindruck von dieser neuen Saite beschreiben.

Mein Cello ist ein Roth&Junius, also eher ein Einsteigerinstrument. Die Werksbesaitung klang entsprechend dürftig, wobei die C- und A-Saiten besonders negativ auffielen (erstere zu dumpf, letztere zu schrill).

Ein erster Versuch mit einer neuen C Saite von Jargar (in der Hoffnung, den Geldbeutel schonen zu können), brachte keine große Verbesserung. Nach etwas Zögern, angesichts des Preises, entschied ich mich letztendlich für die Larsen Il Cannone (die Werbung mit Matthias Bartholomey hat mich dann überzeugt).

Natürlich klingt das Roth&Junius immer noch nicht wie ein Proficello, aber ich bin der Überzeugung, dass es jetzt so gut klingt, wie es nur klingen kann! Eine wahre Klangtransformation.

Nach einer relativ kurzen Einspielzeit klingt die C-Saite sehr hell und durchsetzungsfähig, spricht nach meinem Empfinden sehr gut an und kann sich sogar mit Dämpfer(!) hören lassen. So macht auch das Üben wieder Spaß.
