Good match for Fat 50s

Truly amazing bridge pickup. Good match with Hand wound Fat 50s neck and middle.
Sound: full, no harsh treble, very good sustain at the same time it has vintage flavour, sensitive to attack, it behaves with overdrive and distortion so good! It has clarity!
Size: it is a bit bigger in size. It fits perfect to standard pick-guard and Strat body.
Clear recommendation!

Pure rock 'n' roll

This is an absolutely killer pickup. Totally worth the price. It turned my Strat’s bridge tone from thin and dull into full-on rock ’n’ roll. The only downside to buying Lollar is that it’s impossible to stop at one. Now I have to get matching middle and neck pickups!

Runder Klang und mehr Sustain für Vintage Strat am Steg

Ich habe den Lollar PU am Steg meiner Fender CS eingelötet (SSS). Mir fehlte ein wenig das Sustain, welches ich von einer HSS Strat gewöhnt war, wollte aber SSS nicht modifizieren.
Der PU ist ein Vintage klingender Single-Coil und hat etwas mehr Output als der Fender Texas Special. Tatsächlich merkt man sofort das 'bessere' Susatin, auch ist der PU etwas weniger höhenlastig und klingt runder. Mit angezerrten Amp gibt es schönen Crunch, höhenreich und tight in den Bässen. Für mich hat sich der Umbau gelohnt, klare Empfehlung.

P.S. Ich habe auch Mini-Humbucker und NoiseFree PU von Seymour Duncan getestet. Die waren auch gut. Mir hat aber das Vintage 'Knacken' gefehlt.
