Magma Carry Lite DJ-Case XL Plus

This is a great lightweight case with modular custom pluckable foam inside. I have no complaints whatsoever. It is sturdy for its weight.

I've bought this case to carry a lightweight dawless setup (Digitakt, Blofeld, Keystep, Kaosspad and associated wiring).

Pick-and-pluck foam inlets (two layers, 2.5 and 3.5 cm thick, if I remember correctly) allowed me to layout my gear inside the case, complete with pathways for cables.
I would wish that the foam would be a bit thicker, since the heavier devices are not held in places as firmly as I would wish. Also, the foam lining (eggshell type) in the top lid is really too thin for my purposes, and does not provide much amortization, especially considering that the knobs are on the top side and are the most vulnerable part of the gear. I switched that top foam inlet for some thick acoustic pyramid type acoustic foam.
Then again, that might be just my preferrence.

The detachable lid is a huge bonus for me, as I wish to see the crowd while performing.

There are some small cosmetic trimming imperfections, but that has no impact on the performance.

I really like the locks - works really smooth and has tiny holes for padlocks, if I would ever need to ensure such level of security.

All in all, I think this is the best value for given weight and price.

Habe mir das Case zum Transport meines Numark Mixstream Pro gekauft - es passt perfekt.

Die vorgeschnittenen Schaumstoffmatten machen eine Anpassung an die Größe des Controllers sehr einfach - ich hatte dies innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt.

Das Case selbst ist recht stabil, die Seitenwände sind mMn etwas dünn - wirkt leicht instabil, ist es aber nicht. Dafür ist das Case insgesamt sehr leicht und damit super transportabel. Auch der abnehmbare Deckel ist super.
Bemängeln muss ich einen fehlenden Tragegurt - es sind zwar Ösen für die Befestigung eines solchen vorhanden, jedoch lag keiner bei.
Ich hatte zum Glück noch einen Gurt mit stabilen Karabinern von einer alten Plattentasche übrig - der passte perfekt und nun kann ich das Case ganz bequem „schultern“ und hab noch beide Hände für anderes Zeugs frei.

Die Standfüße am Boden des Cases sind etwas glatt, auf einer glatten fläche neigen die zum rutschen. Hab sie mit ner Feile etwas angerauht, jetzt ist es besser - werd aber wahrscheinlich noch richtige Gummipads ankleben. Die Füße selbst sind genietet, man kann sie also nicht ohne weiteres austauschen.

Impeccable, j'ai géré la mousse pour que ça entoure bien le matos et j'ai même enlevé un petit peu de mousse au fond pour créer un petit espace de rangement pour le câble USB.
Petite astuce : garder une "frite" de mousse de la taille du contrôleur pour la placer sur le contrôleur (entre les faders de voies et les jogs par exemple pour ne pas risquer d'appuyer sur des boutons), ça permet de bien caler le contrôleur une fois la valise fermée et d'éviter qu'il bouge.
Avant que je ne fasse ça, je sentais qu'il bougeait légèrement !
