It's a solid pedal with a sturdy metal enclosure that looks built to jump on and off stage. The sound is quite convincing, helping you dial in a "good enough" Plexi tone from your amp. I tried it with both VOX and Fender amps—the TONE knob was especially useful for fine-tuning the sound depending on the amp. The other controls follow the classic Plexi layout. Gutes Pedal, ich bin beeindruckt! Aber...

Der Sound ist wirklich gut, das Pedal klingt fast so wie ein echter SLP!
Da ich früher jahrelang so einen Amp hatte, kann ich das relativ gut einschätzen.
Allerdings sollte man den "Low Input" eines Amps wählen, um ein authentischeres Verhalten der Regler zu erzielen.
So fängt die Verzerrung (mit Humbuckern) in beiden Kanälen ab 2 an und die Höhen sind nicht zu extrem.
Ich stelle den Tonregler trotzdem nur auf 2, damit es
(an einem "Blues Cube Artist") ausgewogen klingt.
Man sollte das Pedal vor dem Amp einschleifen,
im Loop klingt es nicht so gut.
Daß der 2. Kanal viel basslastiger ist und auch dessen Verzerrung "rustikaler" klingt, kenne ich ebenso von meinem (leider längst verkauften) '59er Marshall inkl. 4x12er Box.
Je nach Amp und Speaker kann das Pedal evtl. zu 99% das Original nachahmen.
Am HB Tube15 hat es mir nicht so gut gefallen.
Ich bin aber mal gespannt, wie es am Input 2 des Blues Deluxe RI mit Creamback 65 klingt...
Negative Eigenschaften:
-Diese typische altmodische "Anschlusslasche" für den 9V- Block wirkt instabil und anfällig. (Oft halten die Dinger aber trotzdem...)
-Die Knöpfe sind sehr leichtgängig und schnell unabsichtlich verstellt.
-Der Volume- Regler macht bei Betätigung "Kratzgeräusche", als wenn er defekt wäre (jedoch nur, wenn die Saiten der Gitarre schwingen bzw. ein Signal anliegt). Es gibt aber keine "Aussetzer", wahrscheinlich ist das also normal. (Ich wollte schon fast das Kontaktspray rausholen...)
-Das Pedal ist relativ groß und schwer.
Allerdings ist es ein "Hingucker", schon wenn man es auspackt und erinnert optisch und erst recht klanglich an den guten alten Plexi!!!

Excellente Pédale mais...

La plupart des vidéos de cette pédale sont faite sur des Marshall type plexi / origin qui a un canal clair pas très brillant et dont le gain est assez poussé.
Si vous utilisez cette pédale sur un canal clair , sans gain , elle ne pas du tout sonner comme un plexi.
J'étais dans un premier temps très déçu jusqu'à ce que je la combine avec ma Tumnus V2 (Klon) dont j'ai poussé le gain entre 12h et 15h en laissant un volume normal.
En fait il faut utiliser cette pédale comme un étage de gain supplémentaire et la , la magie opère....

Marshall just killed the clone-1959ish-pedal market . Sort of. When showing off this robust well sounding own produced and affordable piece with the sizzle and whistle knobs - it's an in and outside design winner.
