Super Pad für leises Üben oder Warmup im Backstage, ohne alle anderen zu nerven. Hat weniger Rebound als normale Pads, was Geschmacksache ist und Vor- und Nachteile hat. Ich persönlich finde, dass das Rebound-Verhalten hier eigentlich realistischer ist. Die meisten Practice-Pads haben einen viel krasseren Rebound als normale Snares, was oft zum kleinen Frustrationserlebnis führt, wenn man das auf dem Pad Geübte dann auf der Snare anwenden möchte.

Zwei Mini-Kritikpunkte:

(1) Wenn man etwas kräftiger schlägt, schlägt man sozusagen durch den Bezug durch und auf das Holz. Dann ist der Schlag doch wieder “laut”.
(2) Toll wäre, wenn das Pad von beiden Seiten bespielbar wäre, also von unten z.B. eine normale Gummifläche hätte. Ich glaube, mittlerweile gibt’s da sogar ein Modell, das das hat.
