Good sound, unsure about the stick tough

I really like this guiro. It is my first one but it sounds like the ones you can find online in tutorials. The guiro itself is really well made. It is big and heavy and produces a nice vibrant sound. I am tough unsure about the stick that seems of a lesser quality and not adapted to the sturdiness of the guiro.
