This is a fun little shaker, capable of lots of sounds. you can get it to sound like a guitar with a wah pedal, similar to the intro of 'Voodoo Child'. You can even play it like a baby Kanjira and it sounds good.

Ich habe mir vor dem Kauf einige Videos bei Youtube angeschaut und war richtig neugierig was das kleine Teil so kann - es ist toll!
Es passt mit seiner Größe sehr gut in meine recht kleinen Hände und macht, wenn man es möchte, ordentlich Krach, kann aber auch ganz leise Töne von sich geben.
Zusammen mit einem abgesägten Drum-Stick macht es einen riesen Spaß unseren Drummer zu unterstützen ;)
In Kombination mit dem Meinl SH16 Spark Shaker eine Bereicherung und ich habe als Sängerin (wenn mal nichts zu singen ist) auch etwas zu tun ;)
Der kleine Kerl ist sauber verarbeitet, die Haut ordentlich gespannt und gibt irre Töne von sich!

Questo Meinl SH18 Headed Spark Shaker Med non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Anzi mi ha deluso!
Pensavo e speravo di comprare uno shaker che mi desse un suono nuovo e diverso. Ed invece è troppo metallico per i miei gusti, le palline all'interno, a mio avviso, sono troppo grosse per le sue dimensioni ridotte, e quindi non permettono di "giocarci" facilmente.
Secondo me c'è anche troppo poco spazio nella parte incava e quindi ciò non facilità l'uso percussivo della pelle su di un lato.
Devo dire che il prezzo non è paragonabile alla qualità del suono.
Mentre per quanto riguarda al qualità di costruzione mi sembra più che sufficiente: la parte metallica mi sembra ben resistente, e la pelle mi sembra ben bloccata in essa.

Ein wahrlich flexibler kleiner Schüttler. Eine Seite ist mit Fell versehen, die andere ist ein halbrunder Metallkorb, innen werkeln Metallkugeln. Durch Drücken des Fells und Haltung des Shakers lässt sich der Klang vielfältig modulieren. Zusammen mit dem SH17 Shaker ergeben sich weitere Möglichkeiten, die auch nach vielen Sessions neue Varianten ergeben (können).

Kurz: Das Ding macht Spaß!
