Useful for small cymbals
I use this arm for my 12inch trash stack. It holds it very well, and I have had no problems with it coming loose from the cymbal stand. However, it does move a bit if you're playing hard or repeatedly. Nothing major, but enough to notice that it moved. For the price it is definitely worth a little movement though. Easy to use and holds the cymbal very well

Very useful tool for adding an extra cymbal to your kit
Bought this for my son to use at home - he had more cymbals than stands and this was much cheaper than a whole stand. We've clamped it to the hi-hat and it does the job nicely
Pros:
- Cheap, much more so that a whole new cymbal-stand
- Doesn't add to your kit's footprint (useful when you have limited space)
Cons:
- Can leave your hi-hat (or whatever it's clamped to) a bit unstable. It's not at risk when you're playing, but in a live situation, it could be vulnerable to being knocked over by an overexcited bass-player
- Clamps and elbows do slowly creep undone, so regular tightening is essential
These limitations aside, I happily recommend this for anyone who thinks it'd be of use.

Great Product for the Price
As a traveling musician on a budget, I've used these cymbal arms in many different ways and seen them used in many more. I personally use mine for splash cymbals since I didn't feel like taking big risks with them at first, but after playing with them for a while and seeing them on other drummers' kits, I see how strong they can be. Most recently I used one to support a full-weight 22" ride without issue.
All in all, as long as you use it correctly and tighten things down well, there shouldn't be any issues, but I have had my own shift in the middle of shows before. Nothing catastrophic, fortunately, but it could have been bad news for my cymbal if it had slipped any further.
Pros:
- Pretty solid when used correctly
- Can support a variety of instruments/cymbals
- Can fit into most positions needed on most kits
Cons:
- (Personally) Not a fan of screwing cymbals on from the top
- Rubber bottom easily lost
- Some issues with slipping/shifting with heavy/constant use

Extra gear
This boom is good for extending cymbal set. Quality is average and handling is not smooth. But it works fine. I have 3 Millenium pro stands and 5 arms for effect cymbals. Its is good arm for lightweight cymbals. Not good for heavy rides or something similar. Good thing is that arm comes with clap.

A bit wobbly
Great for the price, wasn't expecting something amazing. Holds up pretty nice but the the side of the clamp attached to the arm never feels like it's firmly in place. Maybe because I'm using it to mount a snare which is a little heavier than a cymbal. Despite that I'm happy with it.

Good, but falls occasionally
This is a good boom arm. But the lack of any grip on the arm itself makes it subjectable to fall or tilt away from me when used for my china.
Might just be me being weak but I am not 100% sure. The addition of some form of rubber or texture to the clamp mechanism would fix it

Does the Job
I got this for my Studio DrumKit, as the space is limited and I didnt want another stand .... this worked well.
It does the job. But mind you , get a drummer to put this on to the stand . For the price , its great!!! I use it for the Splash and China interchangeably.

Good for fills
It does the job you want from it. But if you are using it for more than fills, it can give you some hard times about stability.
