I'm surprised you can't turn the base left/right to adjust the monitor to a triangle - what are stands supposed to be for?!

The quality is good, but I'm very surprised that you can't turn the base left/right to adjust the monitor triangle - what are the stands for?! Instead, you have to install the stands so that they're not completely fixed on the base or you just turn the monitors, which doesn't look nice.
