Distant drums
I am not a drummer or a Bongo player for that matter but I bought these to give it a try. The good. They look very nice, they are strongly made and they are relatively inexpensive. The bad. They are very heavy. Knowing nothing about Bongos I watched a tuition video and the first thing it showed was how to tune your Bongo drums. I followed the chaps advice and straight away the smaller drum?s skin split! Fortunately the Millenium replacement skins are quite cheap and it was simple to replace the broken one. It remains to be seen how long the new skins last. It might be nice to include a leaflet giving instructions on how to go about tuning the drums! I cannot give these drums a high rating just because of the weight of them, otherwise they are probably good.

Budget bongo set, has great quality materials, and delivers outstanding sound. I would say it's a good choice for both beginners or more seasoned players seeking value without compromising performance

Good for the price
Bought these because I fancied a set & didn't want to spend much on them.
They seem to be well enough put together, though the finish could be better, the paint isn't great in places & the metal frames aren't the best, but to be fair, at the price I didn't expect any different.
They sound pretty good to me & as all I wanted was something to play about with, they fit the bill well.
Even with my limited experience, I know they aren't good enough quality for any sort of performance use, but to just play about with at home, they are fine. I'm happy with them.

A fun set of bongo's
I used these bongo's mainly around a campfire when lugging around a full drum kit isn't practical. They're fun to play and the quality is pretty good, after plenty of trips temperature changes and humidity changes (and occasionally staying out overnight) the skins still produce a good sound.

Good student model
I tried both this set and the Meinl bongo set. Obviously there quite a difference between them but if you need a low budget set of bongos these bongos will do. I found these to be ideal for percussion classes.

Good cheap bongos, perfect for flavours etc
These are good bongos for their price.
I use them mainly with my main kit for samba flavour with sticks, so I dont mind if they get damaged or anything.
I do not use them for more professional latin playing, or dedicated bongo playing, as I have a better (and more expensive) quality set for that.
But for their price you cant go wrong and you can get a pretty decent sound out of them also.
Would recommend.

Seemed quite alright to me though no bongo pro
Excellent. You can hear the result on my album “Pumped Up Kicks” by Mickey G. Also photo of the bongo on cover art. Used it with stand and after tuning. Bought it for this one time use but was impressed.

Nice small bongos
This is pretty good for a beginner. It's small enough for my 9 years old son. The sound is pretty god and it is also loud enough for small acoustic set.
