inferior quality
unlike the full size millenium stands, this one is not of good quality and the screws felt wonky from the start. would not buy again.

Why do I keep buying these?
This is my third stand like this and they're all terrible. It's so easy to throw one in while ordering other stuff because "ah, come on, it's no money and who doesn't need another mic stand?". Look out! It's a trap!
I would like to say that it does it's job, just not very well. However, it doesn't even do that. If you use it on a gig, you can be sure that the mic will not be in the same spot halfway into the set. They're awkward to handle and they come greased in some kind of oil that rubs off everywhere (although, that might come from the bass player).
This is an awful microphone stand.
Go for the K&M!

Probably wouldn't buy again.
Stable enough but they have an annoying design feature - the piece between the upper part of the stand which goes into the large plastic tightener and the boom arm itself can be turned independently, which can make setting up the stand very fiddly, especially where a heavy bass drum microphone is on the end of it!

Not Great
This would be fine for recording if its not being moved around to much. It didnt last long for me because Its was being mover around from show to show and couldnt stand the abuse of every day gigging. so if you are on the road or a professional player spend a few more bucks and get a better stand.

Wouldn't recommend.
I've hurt myself using this thing several times because it's so clunky and unreliable. The screw threads ran out after a while, meaning it doesn't hold the pole tight enough to support it's own weight when holding a mic up. It's poorly built. I wouldn't recommend it.

As reliable as a politician!
Don't get me wrong, I am usually quite satisfied with millenium stands. However this short stuff version is also painfully short on quality and stability. It is rubbish to be honest. Every single joint and component is troublesome. I would never purchase this particular product again.

Not good
This thing is not that very stable. It doesn't tighten enough without destroying the threads. I would not reccomend this.

Not good.
I guess i had it coming. I got what i paid for. Should have pay a little extra to get a better one. Poor quality, shakes all the time and had to do a little repair with screws.

Works, but would not buy it again
We bought the mic stand for our reherseal room to use it for the bass mic. Unfortunately it is hard to keep in the correct position because you can not tight it enough.

Very cheap
This mic stand is perfect for bass drums and other low lying sound sources. Very sturdy and good quality for the price. Much better than the bigger boom arm stands.
