Mounting holes out of alignment

This is the official MOTU kit to allow two of their half rack units to be joined for 19" rack mounting.

I found there was misalignment between the mounting holes on the kit and the MOTU units I was trying to join (two Ultralite mk3's).

Yes it would possible to file out the holes in the kit parts but it was time consuming and not great to do.

This does precisely what it should do: enables rackmounting. However I suspect including rack ears with devices such as the Ultralite AVB and LP32 would not add a lot to the cost of those products: not great from MOTU. Thomann delivered quickly and with no issues so 1005 full marks there.

erledigen ihre im namen ersichtliche aufgabe...

nur mit der kleinen tücke das sich die bohrlöcher der mount-teile 1mm mehr abstand gönnen als die löcher der audioexpress. gehäuseschrauben ein bisschen gelockert, mount fixiert und gehäuseschrauben langsam wieder angezogen (leider nicht mehr ganz die originalposition)
