I cannot praise this pedal enough. I play mainly Metal music. I use it as my main distortion rhythm channel and it sounds awesome. Really powerful, crunchy and lovely tone. The built in sound gate works at treat and stops any unwanted buzzing. Highly recommended pedal

Van Halen in a box!

I love this pedal. It has that Edward Van Halen sound pumping through it and is also very flexible: you can dial in anything from a bluesy overdrive to a full screaming metal distortion. Looks beautiful too with the VH stripes on it.

Iconic on so many levels

I bought this pedal in order to have further gain stage on a Marshall DSL 20 C I was not disappointed - this pedal is an amp in a box from the channel 3 of the EVH 5150 3 (that's a lot of 3's) so the distorsion that results is punchy and gainy without being muddy - this adds a lot of gain HOWEVER the noise gate is quite precise
