Rean NYS 204

Great stereo Jack from Neutrik Rean. Its perfect for Switchcraft type patch panel. Its smaller than TRS jacks on standard studio patch cable so its easier to operate with them..

Bought these to make cables for an electric drum kit so it’s more of an installation job. Easy to solder and haven’t had an issue with any of them. Probably not suitable for a stage cable or anything that takes a beating, the black plastic cover feels brittle and cheap. Still great value for what you get!

I go for Rean NYS 204 jack whenever I need to replace earphone jacks, assemble XLR-to-jack leads/adapters for daily broadcasting needs. Love its old days black look.

This is a perfectly good plug. It is easy to solder and does not suffer from the problem of going open circuit when heated for too long, as many low cost plugs seem to. It is well made and nicely plated.
It has a plastic body which keeps the price down but means it won't survive being stood on. If you need a really sturdy plug, look at one with a metal body. For many applications this plug is fine.

Very good value for money, easy to solder and more than sturdy enough for studio use to connect hardware devices to the back of a patchbay. Less suitable for intensive stage use.

Have been buying these for a long time now, only now got to write a review. This is a sturdy jack, one that is not going to deteriorate quickly. The black casing is made out of plastic, but mind you it is very sturdy and tough. I have a guitar cable with two of these jacks that has been thrown around for the last four years on and off stage, and they work perfectly.
Very reliable and a great option for anyone who doesn't want to shell out big buck for something simple and small.
Neutrik quality, easy soldering, toughly built. Would recommend.
